1. Risk of loss
Trading in financial markets, particularly in leveraged products such as options and futures, carries a substantial risk of capital loss. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses equally. You may lose some or all of the capital you deposit on the platform. In conditions of extreme market gaps, illiquidity, or exchange-level trading halts, your losses may exceed the margin you posted for a position.
You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose in its entirety. Do not trade with funds required for living expenses, loan repayments, or other essential financial obligations.
2. Leverage
Kuber Trade offers leverage of up to 500× on certain futures products. High leverage significantly increases both the potential return and the potential loss on a position. A small adverse price movement can result in the loss of your entire margin and, in fast markets, potentially more than your deposited margin if slippage occurs at the point of liquidation.
The liquidation price displayed on the order ticket and position card is a planning tool, not a guarantee. In fast-moving or illiquid markets, actual close prices may be materially worse than the displayed liquidation level.
3. Auto square-off and liquidation
Every leveraged position on Kuber Trade carries an automatic liquidation mechanism. When the market price of the underlying reaches the liquidation price of your position, the platform will automatically close that position. This is a risk-management feature, not a stop-loss in the traditional sense.
The liquidation price shown on the platform reflects the trigger level based on your current margin and leverage. In fast or gapped markets, the actual fill price may be worse than the displayed liquidation level due to slippage. Adding margin to an open position moves the liquidation price further from the current market price but does not eliminate liquidation risk.
